About UC PRIME Pre-Health Pathways

Who We Are

UC PRIME Pre-Health Pathways was founded in 2023 at UC Irvine to close a persistent gap: first-generation and underrepresented students arrive at UCI with the drive to pursue health careers, but without a clear roadmap for how to get there. UC3P was built to change that.

Housed in the UCI School of Social Sciences and built in collaboration with the UC Irvine School of Medicine, UC3P has grown into a full program model: a structured framework, a cascading mentorship cohort system, and signature programming that walks students from their first year through their health profession application.
